Trettio år efter deras debutalbum återvänder det legendariska rockbandet Asia (originaluppsättning) med ett helt nytt album, 2DVD’s och en världsturné som inkluderar Europa, Japan och Amerika. Asia kommer släppa sitt album XXX (uttalas trippel X) den 29 juni via Frontiers Records.
Första singeln från XXX heter Face On The Bridge och släpps runt hela världen den 14 maj, den officiella musikvideon kan du se längre ner på sidan.
Basist/sångare John Wetton säger, ”We’re very pleased with, and confident about it. It encapsulates, lyrically and instrumentally, the essence of Asia today. However, it is the very same four people that gave you the original, iconic album 30 years ago. If you loved it then, you will love it now.”
Gitarristen Steve Howe säger, ”We wanted to recapture the energy of the first album. Asia has always been about great songs, and fantastic musicianship. I’m sure fans of the first album will fall in love with XXX.”
