Det melodiska death metal bandet Arsis släpper sitt femte album i höst via Nuclear Blast Records. Albumet har fått titeln Unwelcome och är inspelat i Audiohammer Studios i Sanford, Florida tillsammans med producenten Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, DevilDriver, Deicide, Six Feet Under). Omslaget är designat utav Mark Riddick. Arsis sångare/gitarrist kommenterar, ”I am so pleased with the way this album is coming together. I know we all have put ourselves into this recording and I am sure this will be reflected in the end product. Noah Martin (bass) and I did more pre-production for the album than any other Arsis recording.”

Limp Bizkit håller just nu på att arbeta med sitt sjunde album i Miami tillsammans med producenten DetaiL. Bandets gitarrist Wes Borland kommenterar, ”We’re going two different directions right now. One direction is very heavy like our last album, Gold Cobra, but with me pushing the riffs further than they were before. But we’re also working on hip-hop club tracks that have guitar and FredDurst (vocals) on them. Det kanadensiska rockbandet Danko Jones släpper sitt nya album Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue den 9 oktober. Albumet innehåller 13 låtar i sann Danko Jones anda och producerades utav Matt DeMatteo och mixat utav Mike Fraser som tidigare jobbat med AC/DC, Aerosmith, Franz Ferdinand och Elvis Costello med flera. Detta är första albumet med nya trummisen Atom Willard (Rocket From The Crypt, The Offspring, Social Distortion, Angels & Airwaves) – den sjätte personen i Danko Jones historia som har haft den titeln. Det progressiva metal bandet Aeon Of Horus från Australien har äntrat The Brain Studios i Sydney för att påbörja inspelningen av deras andra album som släpps runt årsskiftet.
