The Darkness nya album Hot Cakes släpps den 20 augusti via Play It Again Sam recordings och har producerats av sångaren, gitarristen Justin och Dan Hawkins. Hot Cakes är bandets första album sedan One Way Ticket To Hell And Back från 2005. Finska black metal bandet Cavus har påbörjat inspelningen av sitt nya album som släpps i höst via Listenable Records. Ett pressmeddelande lyder: ”The band just purchased some rats and locusts to roam their premises to advance the vile surroundings of their studio. The old wooden building is condemned to be demolished in the near future so it will be the last album Cavus records at that place they simply call The Lair.” ”No keyboards, no fairies, no bullshit. Kaliforniens blues-rockare Rival Sons släpper sitt nya album Head Down i augusti via Earache Records. Albumet spelades in i Nashville, Tenesse tillsammans med Grammy-nominerade producenten Dave Cobb (Jamie Johnson, Shooter Jennings). Rival Sons frontman Jay Buchanan kommenterar albumets omslag, ”We took a lyric from one of the songs that exemplified the process of making the record. Svenska hårdrocksbandet Bullet släpper sin nya singel Full Pull den 13 juli via Nuclear Blast Records. Singeln kommer finnas tillgänglig digitalt och på vinyl. Låtlista: Sida A: Full Pull Sida B: Get On Full Pull är titeln på Bullet’s nya album som släpps den 14 september via Nuclear Blast Records.
